Early Years

Sierra began dancing at the age of two at Summer's Academy of Dance in Crystal Lake, Illinois as a way to make friends. Dance quickly became more to Sierra as she discovered her love for performing. Sierra trained in every dance style possible from an early age in order to become a versatile dancer. As she continued her training, Sierra learned that through dance; she could create beautiful stories and moved to Denise Sabala Dance Studio in order to further explore herself as an artist. Sierra has and continues to see dance as a form of art and loves finding new ways to impact audiences through her movement and choreography.

Do Re Mi

Sierra's love for musical theater started from an early age when she saw Wicked for the first time. From that first show, she knew she had to be a part of the magic. Her passion for musical theater only grew stronger in high school when she performed in her first musical A Tale of Two Cities. Since her first production, Sierra has continued to perform in numerous musicals and dedicated herself to training in singing and acting along with her dance training. Recently, Sierra had the opportunity to perform with Up and Coming Theater in a production of In the Heights as the ensemble/dance captain (2022), and in Fame as Iris Kelly (2023). Sierra hopes to have the opportunity to perform in more musicals in the future.

Oklahoma City University

In May of 2024, Sierra graduated from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance, a minor in History, and a certificate in Social Media and Marketing. During her time at OCU, Sierra not only trained in dance but also took classes in choreography, pedagogy, production, costuming, acting, and voice. Sierra was fortunate to have performed with the American Sprit Dance Company, Star Dance Company, and liturgical while attending OCU. Sierra is thankful to the staff for their wisdom, guidance, and devotion that has prepared her for the entertainment industry.

What's Next?

In August of 2025, Sierra will be setting sail for her first post-grad contract with Celebrity Cruise Lines as a production dancer aboard the Celebrity Eclipse! She can't wait to perform aboard this beautiful ship while traveling through Europe and the Caribbean.

Since completing 3 years in the Girls on the Run program, Sierra has continued to support GOTR by volunteering to help out at events and raising money for local chapters. Sierra has always admired the way the organization builds young girls' self-esteem and helps them build bonds with other girls. Sierra hopes to continue to support GOTR and one day coach a team of her own.
